New Balance and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

New Balance continues to champion Canadians across the country to participate in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.  New for 2011, New Balance will not only provide branded NB 860 running shoes to all participants who raise $1,500, but will also contribute a Foundation branded gym bag through the Run Rewards program.

“The New Balance support provided to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation goes beyond our sponsorship of the Run for the Cure.  We strive to reach out to participants and survivors to share information on the importance of a healthy, balanced, active lifestyle.  Key to this effort is our Lace Up for the Cure collection in which each shoe is embroidered with the Foundation logo. Through the program, New Balance Canada contributes up to $40,000 in additional funding annually to the Foundation. We are proud to continue our partnership with the Foundation and to support the breast cancer cause.”  Nathaly Hotte, Run Champion and Marketing Supervisor, New Balance Canada.

In 2011, New Balance is pleased to introduce a commitment to health and fitness in the role of prevention and survivorship. New Balance is thrilled to celebrate all survivors by providing the pink survivor Run for the Cure t-shirts on October 2.  Access to the facts and tips for achieving a healthy active balanced lifestyle is our goal.  We are pleased to be contributing content to the Survivor section on the Run for the Cure website as well as information that will be posted on Facebook and Twitter pages leading up to Run day.  Join us!
