"Disappointingly, had to return these, the size 13 4E actually fits like a 12 2E. Only ordered this because the new 910 v3 is so ugly, but i may have to put up with that, (assuming it fits like the 910 v2). Otherwise, i'm sure it's a fine shoe if it fits."

"I usually wear a 10 2E in men's shoes; in this style I should have sent the shoes for a 4E size 10.5 or 11. Insoles felt like cardboard, but after replacing the insoles with ones with more cushion and heel cushions. they were much more comfortable. I thought that had resolved the problems, but my baby toe still hurt and when I touched my shoes to find where the top of my toes hit, I realized they were nearly up against the shoes. I couldn't return he shoes because they had been worn. Wearing thinner socks have helped as have wearing toe cushions on my little left toe. I've never had to make that many adjustments on any New Balance shoe style. From now on it's back to 847V2 11 2E in women's. That's a shoe style specifically made for me. If a shoe begins hurting within the first 5-10 minutes of wearing in a carpeted area, take them off, release the in the box and return the via UPS. They aren't the shoes for you. There are many others to choose from, that fit you needs from the New Balance vault."

"A number of people have observed that is seems that New Balance shoes in general are getting a bit narrower. For a shoe company who's core value proposition includes catering to wide feet, this sounds like a bad trend. I have found this trend with all of my recent New Balance purchases. As a result, I now have to purchase New Balance shoes an half size to a full size larger than normal to get the same 4E width feel I grew accustomed to over the past decades. This was true with the 3000 (a full size larger was needed)."

"This was my third purchase from new balance that I had to return. This shoe and the previous shoes would slip in the heel and not provide a good fit or a stable shoe. I was very disappointed in the quality of the shoes, and the poor fit."

"New Balance is my preferred shoe due to good fit (wide) and comfort to wear. Unfortunately, the 3000 completely misses the mark. I ordered a 12 4EE and it was tight. I've never had this size be tight in a New Balance. The sole is flat with no support. I made the mistake of wearing these out so they can't go back, but my feet hurt after a couple of hours. Don't waste your money on these shoes. If you like the style, wait and see what they come out with next. Whoever designed this particular shoe should reevaluate the reasons most customers buy New Balance. I'm back in my old New Balance's and they fit great."
