"Although this is the only shoe that fits me, New Balance never puts them on sale. Makes me angry."

"Not a good shoe for over 185 lbs. Details are correct in ad but sole is thin hard and no give. Rollbars unconfortably felt if person over 200 lbs, but needed because shoe not well built for tennis stability otherwise. Make feet sore. Not worth more than $55."

"I have a narrow foot. The 806 is one of the few tennis shoes that actually comes close to fitting properly. Quality is good. Durability has been OK. The shoe is comfortable out of the box."

"Comfortable, good balance, works well with my orthotics. Feet feel less fatigued, as is the case with all of the New Balance shoes I have used. I would recommend these to everyone."

"I wear a size 15B (narrow). There is no other tennis shoe that fits me so well and performs so well for me. The negatives are few: they wear out relatively quickly, probably due to the sole material that provides such good traction, and I miss the return policy New Balance used to have for shoes that wore out in less than 6 months. Still, I buy them because I have been unable to find any other shoe in the market that fits so well and plays so well."

"Leather seems lighter but has look and feel of plastic."

"My tennis shoes were shoddy. Stitching near top eyelet was coming apart. There was a cut on rear left shoe. These shoes were a replacement for shoes which had worn out after 5mos. with very limited wear. The replacement shoes did not appear to be first quality."

"Having really wide feet (4E) has made it really difficult to find good tennis shoes, however, these are perfect; fit great, run great, feel great. Love them."

"I have been wearing the same New Balance tennis shoe since the 90's. The model number changes just about every year and the style of the shoe has also changed, just a little. Now I find that I have to purchase a larger size, because they seem to be made much smaller than in the past. I have actually put my three year old sneaker right next to the new one, and you can see how much smaller the new sneakers are, compared to the older ones. Also the tongue keeps falling to the side, no matter how tight they are laced."
