Since its inception in 1981, New Balance Foundation has supported proven pathways to help young people achieve their goals through community-led, outcomes driven initiatives. Our mission is to invest in vibrant communities and bright futures through sport so that we can change a generation. Our grant-making focuses on programs that increase access to sport, educational support, career readiness, and overall well-being and which are grounded in measurable, data-driven strategies that address complex social issues.
To date, we’ve invested more than $150 million. In 2024 alone, we provided grants totaling over $12 million to 90 trailblazing non-profit organizations in the communities where our associates live and work.
