The 996’s technological features represented six years of evolution, and featured a subtly streamlined exterior design, making for an exceptionally wearable, high-performance shoe. This longtime fan favorite makes its return for the first time since 2021, in the Spring 2023 MADE in USA Seasonal Collection. The MADE in USA 996 is outfitted with a premium hairy suede and mesh upper featuring ‘NB navy’ with neutral toned foxing providing a soft sense of contrast. The design is rounded out with a woven tongue label and sockliner.New Balance MADE U.S. footwear contains a domestic value of 70% or more. MADE makes up a limited portion of New Balance’s US sales.
