Payments and Gift Cards

We accept a variety of payment methods at checkout to make shopping with us easy. 

Plus, we offer eGifts and Gift Cards that can be used on and participating New Balance Stores, so you can surprise your recipient without worrying about their size or style preference.

We accept the following payment options: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Klarna.

To save credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards for faster checkout, log in or create an account.

Klarna is a payment method that allows you to split your order total into 4 interest-free payments.

To complete your order with Klarna:  

  1. Select Klarna as your payment method at checkout.  
  2. Create a Klarna account or log in if you already have an account.  
  3. Pay for your order over 4 installments to Klarna.

You’ll pay for your order in four equal installments. Klarna will automatically collect your first payment when your order ships, and the remaining payments every two weeks.

Log in or create an account to save and edit your payment methods for faster checkout.

Once logged into your account, select “Add payment method” from your Account Page. You can add, remove, or edit credit cards, debit cards, and Gift Cards. 

Select “Check balance” at the bottom right of our Gift Cards page to check your balance using your Gift Card Number and PIN.

eGifts and Gift Cards may be applied to orders placed online, over the phone with our Customer Care Department, or at participating New Balance Stores. 

No, our eGifts and Gifts Cards do not expire. 

If New Balance does business in your state, we are required to charge sales tax on orders shipping to you. We do not benefit from the amount of sales tax that you are required to pay to your state. Sales tax is calculated based on the shipping address. Visit our find a store page to see if we do business in your state.

No sales tax is charged when purchasing eGifts or Gift Cards. When eGifts or Gift Cards are used to make purchases, the appropriate sales tax will be charged. 

You can purchase eGifts and physical Gift Cards here. eGifts are delivered via email immediately once your payment has been processed, and physical Gift Cards are delivered by mail typically within 3-5 business days. Both are valid on footwear, apparel and accessories purchased at and participating New Balance Stores.

To use your eGift or Gift Card on 

  1. Expand the “Redeem Gift Card or Promo Code” section in the payment step at checkout. 
  2. Enter your eGift or Gift Card Number and PIN. 
  3. Select apply to see your new order total. 

To use your eGift or Gift Card in a participating New Balance Store, simply bring your physical card or eGift email.

No, you cannot return an eGift or Gift Card.

If you return an item purchased with an eGift, we will email you a new eGift for the refunded amount. If your return was purchased with a Gift Card, the refund amount will be added back to the original card.  

To use PayPal as your payment method: 

  1. Select PayPal as your payment method during checkout.  
  2. Complete your payment through the PayPal payment pop-up.  
  3. Review and place your order on 

You will receive an order confirmation email from us as well as a transaction receipt from PayPal.

Your Gift Card Number and PIN are located in your eGift email or on the back of your physical Gift Card.

Check your junk/spam folder if you cannot find your eGift email. 

Please note that we cannot replace eGifts or Gift Cards that have been lost, stolen, or destroyed.

Your selected payment method will be charged once your order ships.  

We verify shipping and billing addresses with credit card companies when processing orders. If you are having your order delivered to an address other than your billing address, your order may be delayed for verification. 

No, we are unable to change the payment method after your order is placed. Orders can be cancelled within one hour of placement by contacting Customer Care via live chat or phone.
